Location: Meeting place of the Zhu Mountain, Cising Mountain and Datun Mountain systems.

Height: 1072m above sea level.

Geology: Hornblende pyroxene andesite, agglomerate and tuff are the major rock types of the mountain.

Scenic features
1. Looking towards the mountain from Taipei City (Taipei Basin), there are many TV and radio broadcasting stations on the mountain top. This is the Siaoguanyin Mountain in the shale of a flat top cone.

2. Looking down at the crater from its edge, it is spectacular and surrounded by almost vertical cliffs, except the opening in the north due to erosion. The valley is covered with arrow bamboo (Fargesia spathacea), as if it was a silk quilt.

3. From the opening in the north can be seen the landscape of the northern coast.

4. The peak is occasionally covered with a dusting of white snow. Though it is neither thick nor heavy, it gives another angle to the scenery.

Note: The area is currently a military controlled zone for authorized personnel only!
